The manufacturing stage is where design concepts are transformed into finished architectural surfaces. Each lava stone element is carefully processed to ensure that both structural integrity and visual quality are maintained.
Glazed lava stone production combines traditional craftsmanship with modern fabrication techniques.
Stone Preparation
Natural lava stone slabs are first cut and shaped according to the project specifications. This stage ensures that each element matches the required dimensions and structural requirements.
Glaze Application
Mineral glazes are applied to the prepared stone surfaces. These glazes determine the color, texture and visual depth of the final surface.
Kiln Firing
The glazed lava stone is then fired in high-temperature kilns. During this process the glaze melts and fuses permanently with the stone surface, creating a durable vitreous layer.
Quality Control
Each surface is inspected to ensure that glaze quality, color consistency and dimensional accuracy meet the project requirements before shipment.
